Kids Are A Pain

Thren is content to spend his days improving his surfing technique. He has his reputation to protect. Four years straight winning. It never gets old.
However, there is dissent in paradise-Sophia Hales’s kids and his have been badgering him to go back to his home - the one that is 100,000 light years away. They want to meet their half-brother and sister

What is a man to do? They have convinced Elena that it is the right thing to do.

It may be the right thing to do, but there are a couple of minor issues.

1. He believes his home star system is on the other side of the Milky Way Galaxy's core, but is not sure
2. There is no known way to get there in less than 10,000 years.
3. To even do that, they need to build a Phase 4 engine - something that is only a theory.
4. Phase 4 engines require Velurium, and there is none in this section of the Galaxy
5. They don't have a Starship. The Odyssey II has been retired and sits alongside the Odyssey I in a museum.

To make matters worse, Gor’Vath has begun a campaign to fund the trip through social media platforms - and the response is overwhelming. He has received pledges for over fifty billion dollars, and is pressing Thren to get his but in gear.
